Earlier today, I heard you read the NBA player adoption ad on the air. It's got to be one the funniest pieces I have heard in a long time. May I have a copy please? I have been a fan of WCCO radio for a long time. It's one of my favorite stations and especially in the car as I was this morning when I heard you read this piece. We live in northern Iowa and the station comes in "5-by".

Thanks and keep up the good work.

I heard I could get the news about how to sponsor a NBA player for only 2000 a month. Please send.

Thank you, Bruce

Please send a copy of the aid to NBA players information. I only caught the last bit of it when I got into the car after a basketball game earlier today. I'll appreciate reading the entire piece.

Thanks! Cindy Ekhoff

Wendy: Send me a copy of that appeal for basketball players. Thanks for the laughs.

John Buck

Hi Wendy,
I enjoy your show very much and would like to request the basketball disertation you read this morning. Will you be putting it on your web site? If so please send me a copy .

Thank you very much,
Katherine Hodgson

Dear Wendy:
heard that hysterical bit u did a la Sally Struthers today about giving 2,000/day to help a striking pro-basketball player. I would like a copy of it. Thank you.

Wendy My wife came downstairs laughing and asked if I had CCO on this morning. She had just heard the "Save the NBA player story" and wanted to pass it on, but could- 'nt remember it all. She thought you said it was in your 'mailbox' and asked if I could find it so she could retell the story. Could you forward it to a long time CCO listener.

Thanks AL

Dear Ms Wilde I was ready to give up on WCCO, after 40 some years. Then I heard you, when you replaced Dark Star temporarily. Really enjoyed hearing your opinions. I was beginning to think there were only conservative hosts on talk radio.

If possible could you send me a schedule of when you are on?

Sincerely John F Fischer Oakdale MN

Dear Wendy-
I don't write in or call into radio shows, but I really want you to know how much I enjoyed your show the other day involving child support and all the blather that goes on in the courts and out. I was especially dismayed to hear what went on in your own situation. I wish you well at WCCO and keep up the good work.

Sincerely, Don Balfanz

Keep up the super job.

Steve Pederson

Hi Wendy
We like your show a lot. You are an outgoing gal, upbeat and cheerful. Keep up the good work - HOWEVER - we dont know what you look like. Sure would be nice to have a face with the voice.

Thanks Shirley and Bud

Its a tradition that whenever you are barhopping in Nordeast Minneapolis you have to go to Stasius on University and Lowry to see the 6 foot imported European Urinals in the mens room. The place is just a local bar but the owners have turned down offers for thousands of dollars for these(so the urban myth goes) supposedly these were in the Aster Fine Arts theatre downtown .

Hi Wendy - Really enjoy you on CCO. They have needed someone like you for a longgggg time! ;)

Was in my car just now and heard your first Restroom Review. Think it's a great idea and maybe it will get some establishments on their toes as far as their restrooms are concerned. What a hoot!! I have one to offer you to visit. There is a wonderful coffee shop in White Bear Lake. On County Road E, just east off of Highway 61, called Cafe Cravings. Not only are the desserts and coffees out of this world, but they have a very quaint and fabulous rest room. Now, this is unisex, and is only one room, no stalls, no urinals, anything like that. BUT when you enter this room, you will have this calming feeling come upon you and you will want to stay there for awhile and meditate. It is decorated to perfection and is my answer to the "perfect bathroom outside your home".

I have to admit your hubby may not get this same feeling upon visiting. But it is clean, unique and down right enchanting. AND, I always have to visit this little room when I am there for coffee. By the way, they have the best chicken salad sandwiches in the world, and their Wild Rice Soup is to die for!! And I can guarantee that you and hubby will not leave without tasting something wonderful. They are wonderful people - a family owned spot and very accommodating.

Hope you try this. And good luck with your new topic for radio.
A Huge Fan Already, Kelli in Lino Lakes

Hello Wendy!
I just happened to hear your request for WCCO Radio listeners to e-mail you about restrooms in the Twin Cities area... You HAVE to check out the men's restroom at Stasiu's Bar in Northeast Minneapolis on University Avenue!

My husband is a born-and -bred "Nordeaster," and it was he who introduced me to the men's bathroom in Stasiu's (where his sister Roxanne bartends). Now, it's not what you may be thinking... He checked to make sure there were no occupants first, and then escorted me into this unbelievable room! It is so magnificent that the bar even sells T-shirts with pictures of the men's room urinals on them.

The urinals are HUGE, made of marble and have arm rests molded right into them. The women's restroom pales by comparison. Make sure part of your restroom review includes Stasiu's lavish lav!

Sincerely, Susanne Fussy

Dear Wendy:

I just wanted to let you know I really enjoy listening to you. You have an excellent voice, and your personality very lively, fun, interesting and entertaining.. Keep up the good work.
